This is a mixed media that incorporates photography, painting and collage. First the photos were sized and cut and pasted on hot pressed WC paper. All photographs were taken by Ken L. Howard. Then the clouds and eagle were painted in. Next I pasted on the magazine cut out of Jackie Gleason and paul Newman from the 1962 film the "Hustler". I re photographed it using black and white medium format film and printed it on 12x16 matt photo paper mounted on 16x20 board. I used very diluted oil paints to lightly hand color the photograph and finished with two coats of clear gloss. This is a hand crafted artwork.
