All my Cat paintings are inspired by the elusive character of my own Cat.

The Cat sort of is and sort of isn ́t present which you find out the best by the missing titbits when preparing a garden party. During it ́s distinct moments of presence the Cat is absolutely curious (captured on my paintings) but quickly hides himself like a first class magician. It rarely does what you want but always does what he wants. The Cat is a symbol of noble selfish freedom where the obligations are managed by others while the Cat walks no lower than the top of the roof controlling the World below with it ́s occasional „miaows“.
