Max Stark

Max Stark is a German artist whose identity has been unknown since the beginning of his extensive work. Nobody knows how many works he has created under different pseudonyms, but his latest project is now to be made accessible to a larger audience:

"I do not manage to change the world by hosting only the richest ones."

Starting in October 2019, the red dot is the supporting element and interacts with surreal moon-like landscapes to symbolize the life and networking of our contemporary society. The continued existence of a free and organic art culture is very important to him, especially in this time of possible and emotional disruption:

"The size and moral progress of a nation can be judged by how it treats its art, and I realize that I can not change the whole world, but I can make it more beautiful than I've found it. I decided to face the chaos of leather armor and liberate beauty and wisdom from the bondage of chance. "

Stark has decided on one reason for the quadratic picture format:

"Squaring the circle is as easy as picking an apple that grows on a pear tree, just do it and keep your balance."

Although Stark's basic idea is not immediately apparent, we can continue to count on him and hope that his planned collection goes even further than he himself wishes.

Max Stark ist ein deutscher Künstler, dessen Identität seit Beginn seines umfassenden Werkes unbekannt ist. Niemand weiß, wie viele Werke er schon unter verschiedenen Pseudonymen geschaffen hat, aber sein neuestes Projekt soll nun einem größeren Publikum zugänglich gemacht werden:

"Es gelingt mir nicht, die Welt zu verändern, indem ich nur die Reichsten bewirte:"

In der ab Oktober 2019 entstehenden Kollektion ist der rote Punkt das tragende Element und interagiert mit surreal anmutenden, mondähnlichen Landschaften, um sinnbildlich für das Leben und die Vernetzung unserer heutigen Gesellschaft zu stehen. Der Fortbestand eine freien und organischen Kunstkultur ist ihm vor allem in dieser Zeit möglicher und seelischer Zerrüttung sehr wichtig:

"Die Größe und den moralischen Fortschritt einer Nation kann man daran messen, wie sie ihre Kunst behandelt. Mir ist klar, dass ich nicht die ganze Welt verändern kann, aber ich kann sie an vielen Stellen schöner machen als ich sie vorgefunden habe. So habe ich mich entschieden, dem Chaos in lederner Rüstung entgegenzutreten und Schönheit und Weisheit aus der Knechtschaft des Zufalls zu befreien."

Stark hat sich vor allem aus einem Grund für das quadratische Bildformat entschieden:

"Die Quadratur des Kreises ist so einfach wie das Pflücken eines Apfels der an einem Birnbaum wächst. Man muss es nur tun und dabei das Gleichgewicht behalten."

Auch wenn sich Starks Grundgedanke nicht sofort erschließen können wir weiterhin auf ihn zählen und hoffen, dass seine geplante Kollektion noch weiter reicht, als er selbst es sich wünscht.
