Thank you for taking a look at my work. You will find in my collection of photographs and digital paintings a huge variety of subjects and styles. I have developed a passion for capturing moments, details and patterns in the world around me, and in everyday life. My portfolio is continually growing and I hope you find something in it that speaks to you, something that you see real beauty in

About me

As a child I was a keen artist. I spent many hours drawing with oil pastels, using techniques taught to me by a teacher, Mrs Krishna, at the Maseru English Prep School in the late 1980s. I was inspired by landscapes and wildlife of Southern Africa, which was on my door step, as well as still life drawings influenced by my mum’s collection of pottery.

As my education progressed, I pushed myself hard to achieve good exam grades at GCSE and A level, and then went on to medical school for five years. After qualification, I had the opportunity to work in New Zealand for a short period, which I combined with a few stops on a round-the-world ticket. My first stop was Sydney and I decided to invest in a digital compact camera. I very soon found myself photographing my surroundings avidly. My urge was to convey a feel of the place I’m in, beyond the classic shots of landmarks, often with close up images, and aspects everyday life. Some of the best pictures I have made are from that trip!

I ended up specialising in histopathology, which is the diagnosis of disease by visualising small samples of human tissue using a microscope. Whilst there is a lot of science underpinning the discipline, the actual day-to-day work is essentially visual, consisting of pattern recognition, and translating that into a written assessment to allow management of the disease by the medical staff treating the patient.

I now work half time in histopathology and use my remaining time to manage a growing library of images. I believe the two jobs compliment each other well, and my use of pattern recognition in histopathology is often reflected in the nature of my images.

What is my work about?

My collection is a varied collection of high-end unique photographs and illustrations, ranging from highly conceptual and story-telling pictures, suitable for a wide range of commercial purposes, to highly unusual backgrounds and textures, great for prints or advertising templates.

My style combines patterns, textures and colours all captured in a carefully thought out way, and then curated and retouched with meticulous attention to detail.

Hola my peeps!!

Thanks for taking some time of your life to look at my page. Sometimes I wonder if people are really looking back at my page or designs. As all I can see back is a number of possible viewers. So please comment on anything and everything .. just a “hello” or “hola” is welcome!! .. critics are welcome too!

A little about myself:
.... Well I love my imagination... my girlfriend sometimes thinks “I’m crazy” in how much I think about. Even in the smallest of things. But all the time I try to think of creative things i could be doing, Instead of the boring and sometimes stressful school. I wish I could just go to school and take all the art classes I want. Drawing, painting, print, graphic design, sculpture .. so on.

... anyway about me.. I’m a graphic design student. in my spare time I paint and draw.. One of the things I want to buy is a welder and other tools ... I have done metal sculpture and I like it a lot. Another thing I would like is a studio that way I could do all the things I want in one place.

HMX 23 = well I dont really know.. Its a combination of my name “Hector” and where I’m from, “Mexico”. Anyway that’s a little about me..

I ́m from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. I ́m artist, illustrator and designer. My city is a great reference for me. I like the colors and shapes of the sea, trees, people, everything!
I want to make people smile with my art.
Welcome to my world. =)

hi,
I'm a 24 years old self-taught photographer from France.

In my work, i love to tell stories and particularly stories about magic, dreams, spiritualism, paranormal activities, belief and spychology.

I love a million things.
I love the sun. i love the stars. i love the moon. i love trees. i love flowers. i love ice creams. i love dresses. I love the sea. i love the sand. i love animals. i love cupcakes. i love to watch people. i love the sky. i love the wind in my hair. i love music. i love beautiful sad songs. i love crazy people. i love quite everything but most of all i love to dream.
Dreams are amazing... the dreamland is the only place you can feel free to do whatever you love... you can fly, you can fight a big green dragon to save the prince! yes! you can change the world!
that's why i'm trying to picture my dreams so i won't forget them. dreams are somewhow the reflection of us in life and so are my pictures. the reflections of who i really am.

i'm so happy to share my work with you and i hope you'll love it.

He makes illustrations for worldwide textile brands and many Turkish advertisement agencies.

I'm a German artist and trained ceramic painter with a degree in Comparative Literature, working primarily in ink, pastels and colored pencils. Creating pictures is my life, and keeps me sane. There is nothing more rewarding for me than getting lost on the page and story of a new drawing. I like to think of my pictures as little "escapes" from reality where it's possible for fish to fly and for girls to ride on sea horses high above the city. I have been published in online and actual art magazines, and participated in exhibitions within Germany.

Christopher Michael Creath is a California native, born to a Swedish migrant and American father, finding contrast in culture, and mindsets from a young age. Exploring the dichotomous nature of people and the world around us, in an attempt to reconcile the contradictory, yet ultimately complimentary halves of our whole, is the purpose of his work.
