A Javanese invention used in writing of patterns and lines in Batik. Made out of copper spout and bamboo holder, an artist will scoop some of hot molten wax into it and often blow the tip to control the flow of the wax. Mainly used in Batik tulis where the results of the pattern are alive and there's movement.
