Sometimes you have to take a fresh look at something in order to see it. The day that I took the photograph that became the source for this painting, I had parked my car a few feet away from this house. Two hours later I decided to call it a day. I still had a couple of pictures left on the roll and to finish it, I decided to take another look at the houses on the block where I had parked. It was only then that I saw this charming little garden
