Watercolour and ink travel sketch painting in impressionist expressionist of the character Dora in a famous ruin bar from Budapest in Hungary.
I visited the ruin bar quite early in the morning, and there were hardly anybody there, unfortunately. At least I could sketch in peace. I added some people sitting around, especially Dora, the woman in pink on the right side. Dora is a character I invented for the illustration a book called „About Women and Girls“. I felt the ruin bar is a bar that Dora surely would like!
Seen and painted during a painting trip to Budapest in October 2014.
