March 18th – 20th 2011 was the Lunar Perigee. The time frame that occurs every 18 years, when the moon is at it’s closest orbit to the earth.

I managed to capture a few shots on the 20th evening, as the moon rose. This is one of those shots.

It reminds me of a cantaloupe :)
