„River Branches“

aus der Galerie von Rod Johnson
Über dieses Bild:

The early morning fog and frost had almost cleared to reveal this tranquil scene. The white speck in front of the distant trees is a swan flying along the river. The title of the picture is derived from two factors; the branches of the partly submerged fallen tree and also the bridge and viaduct. The railway which crosses it is known locally as the Leicester Branch line. The location is the River Trent at Waterside, Stapenhill, Staffordshire, England.
