"Some say he is a lizzard horse of the coast. Others say he is a chimera of bird, snake and fish. But I tell you, he is a beast one of his kind. I have seen him transform into many shapes over many decades. Today he is roaming the sea, hunting for fish, squids and humans alike...and in twenty winters from now he will leap into the air with wings greater than our longhouse, spitting his poison on every poor creature of the land that can satisfy his endless hunger. It is he, the mighty Alaun Dragon."
