Watercolour and ink travel sketch painting in impressionist expressionist of a penguin painting a mural featuring other penguins on the zoo wall in Budapest in Hungary.
I was walking from the City Park towards the Danube and happend upon a guy and a girl, hard at work, painting the enormous wall that encircles the zoo. I loved the motif with all the buckets and it gave me the idea of that painting. I especially like the Lego penguin on the mural, great humour in there!
Seen and painted during a painting trip to Budapest in October 2014.
