„Turtle Head Sea Cave Napali Coast“

aus der Galerie von Frank Wilson
Über dieses Bild:

Digital pencil rendering of a beautiful, secluded beach on what must be one of the most spectacular shorelines in the world. A sea cave connects the two beaches. The N? Pali coast is along the northwest side of Kaua?i, the oldest inhabited Hawaiian island. The N? Pali coast itself extends southwest starting at Ke?e Beach extending all the way to Polihale State Park. The pali (cliffs) rise as high as 4,000 feet (1,200 m) above the Pacific Ocean.

My photographs have been digitally rendered as fine detailed pencil drawings. They remind me of the delicate "silver point" drawings that I created on gessoed paper using a piece of sterling silver wire while a student at the Art Institute Of Boston. The silver would darken as it oxidized creating a very subtle and soft look. These images look stunning in the larger sizes, matted and framed.
