- Born on 21.12.1962 in Aschersleben (Germany)

- Apprenticeship to an electrician for maintenance

- Autodidactically working

- 1993 graduation in the ABC Artschool Paris seminar "Zeichnen und Malen"

- 2004 graduation in the graphic design study with Diplom (SGD Darmstadt)

- Nowadays living in Reinstedt, married, two children

- Various exhibitions as single artist and in participation with others throughout Germany

Honestly, I didn’t really create a story for this one. I had an idea to connect this picture with mass media but I don’t think I achieved my goal. I added elements that made sense for me but I have no idea how to explain my way of seeing this picture. I hope I’ll come up with a better description for it, but that’s all I have for now.

(There’s also a coloured version) His toxic nature finally showed up. Being a narcissist cased him to slowly turn into a beautiful flower. Isn’t it what he always wanted to become? He feels lost and terrified, vines are now growing from everywhere, he’s losing vision. There is no escape from this nightmare. He should’ve thought about his behaviour earlier.

(There’s also a coloured version) As he gets older, he slowly turns into fungus, that will grow forever on a basement floor, where he lived before. Sorrowful thoughts are stuck in his deforming head: «When will this end?», «Will he be able to spread spores to continue his family tree?». But all he can do is just wait and observe changes in his body.
