I am a self taught painter from Cape Town, South Africa.
I work in an expressive and energetic and gritty style and often on a large scale. I work almost exclusively in oils on canvas.
While I love painting celebrities, I also do portraits of unknown people. I do private commissions and have collectors in my own country and internationally.
While my work is somewhat neutral in palette, I focus more on bold, energetic strokes , often with oversize brushes and rely more on composition, energy and contrast.
I am looking to exhibit internationally, perhaps Germany and would appreciate any ideas and suggestions. Thank u!!
