The residue of a failed civilisation is viewed from the perspective of the cow protagonist, who having inexplicably escaped the fate of so many others, is a lonely witness to the end of a beautiful story.
My intention is to explore the phenomena of herd-mentality, mass denial as it relates to climate change within the context of a consumption-based economy.
I was inspired by the current Australian government's policies on climate change (or lack thereof), and the power of the media to influence perceptions for the benefit of big business. Keep people both afraid and busy consuming rather than uniting against the power-base in support of climate-friendly, forward-thinking initiatives.
