I am an artist/illustrator from Townsville, Australia that works with digital and mixed media paintings. The scenes within my art are often macabre and bloody: containing women, monsters or some form of physical ailment. I am inspired by many illustrators within the music and video game industries, the art of dark fantasy and monster artists, the horror writings of H.P. Lovecraft and the controversial films of Jörg Buttgereit. My paintings are created with a combination of Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter, and a wide range of weird traditional mediums. Their fine-lined details separate focal-points from the surrounding chaos of movement, mess and gore.

I’m a Bachelor of New Media Arts graduate from James Cook University, Australia. I describe myself as an Arts Enthusiast, because my involvement in the creative industry is multi-faceted: I am an artist, creating my own work, but I also like working with artists in the gallery environment, and being around art. I have written many reviews and been published in Townsville’s ARTGAZE magazine. My own artwork is often inspired by the eastern perspective, and often relates to Japan. I’ve studied the sumi-e style of painting, and I’d love to push that further.
