Organics: Bud

A beautiful structure I created in SideFX Houdini that looks like a bud, or a crosscut through a plant. What do you see?

For me it represents an almost perfect combination of technical means for a very natural outcome, something I just love.
Like a painter, I use my tools to get closer and closer to an understanding of what makes nature so beautiful. By recreating it, I don't try to compete with it, but feel a deep joy when I am able to do something that is in the same realm.

A beautiful structure I created in SideFX Houdini that reminds me of a splash of water, but can also be seen as a hole in the ground. What do you see?

For me it represents an almost perfect combination of technical means for a very natural outcome, something I just love.
