This was taken at Bryce Canyon National Park. Bryce is located in Utah, United States. The major features of the park are a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. This image features distinctive geological structures called hoodoos, which are formed by frost weathering and stream erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rocks.
