My name is Zsolt Nagy and I live in Serbia. I was born the 12th of March in 1990. During my school years, I was attracted by different graphics and design. When I finished high school, I started to explore digital imaging, that’s how I became a concept artist. I finished a course in one of Budapest’s finest schools, the Mesharray Digital and Media School.

I'm an established illustrator working on a freelance basis producing commissions for magazines, design and advertising agencies. My illustrations are quirky & humorous figurative pieces produced using a mix of hand-rendered line and computer work.

Since time immemorial the seasons have shaped and characterized the Nordic (folk) soul. The extreme contrast between light and darkness, hope and despair and elation and melancholy. The Scandinavian soul, like the inward looking, hibernating bear, seeks isolation when the sun turns its face to other latitudes, and from this fateful ambience comes creative inspiration.

It is my intention to capture the beauty present in the meeting between the dark, the light & the interaction of colors, with natures unruly and unconditional constitution.
This is my desire, this is the key. I would like to show you that there's great hope right here in our love of nature. That is the challenge that inspires me to create portraits of a big country interacting and acting between these two extremes, and where the light is a messenger in the darkness.

I am an artist based in Johannesburg, South Africa. I studied graphic design at the University of Johannesburg and graduated with BTech degree in 2003. I'm also a co-founder of a hiphop pioneering group, Skwatta Kamp, also based in South Africa. I enjoy anything that is art.
