The area I live in has a tremendous amount of Amish barns and farms. They do things a little bit different than the typical farmer. We have plenty of farmland in my area and you can usually tell the difference between the two. But, even in another state I love to take photographs of just about any barn I see.

My abstracts are typically a photograph of a flower. I take that photograph and get this creative feel as if I need to do something different with it. With all of the software programs there are today, it is quite easy to make a photograph something totally different. That is, as long as you can make up your mind what it is you want to do with it.

Take care of your family and yourself. Take care of your responsibilities. While doing the preceding two things, never ignore your own desires to grow as a person. And, whenever you can, “Slow down. Stop and smell the roses.” And always “Be Inspired by Everyday Beauty”
