For me everything began with the love for traveling and the wish to ban the unknown and fascinating - people, landscapes, situations - in pictures. Painting can thus be healthy for the soul. It calls forth emotions, memories, and moods – good as well as bad ones – which we ourselves cannot always name or evoke, even. We can entrust the painting with them. In it, we can always revisit them or entomb them forever if we choose to. But we can also turn around and become a better person... ;-)
