Boats drawn up on the shore of Derwentwater at Keswick in Cumbria. Derwentwater is one of the main bodies of water within the Lake District National Park. It is approximately 3 miles long and 1 mile wide with a maximum depth of about 72 feet. The shore at Keswick is extremely popular with tourists who can hire rowing boats or take a less arduous trip on a launch. There are many walks around the lake and on the surrounding fells.
