I live in Chicago, am a visual artist, and work in a number media as a painter, as well as on paper, incorporating elements of collage in both.
The figure is central to my work and like actors in theater the subjects are always engaged with an audience. Posed as though in tableau the figures create a sense of ambiguous tension, revealing as much about themselves on the surface as they conceal below.
