I have been creating art in various styles and forms since an early age. I have been in the digital art scene since the late 1980's. My initial efforts with digital art was with the early painting programs mostly creating abstract and fractal based images then moving on to what was then experimental CGI ray-tracers. I have been an instructor guiding the development of beginning artists in the fields of digital art forms.

I have been a part of the online digital art communities for nearly two decades. Initially as an artist and instructor. Later also as a member of the staff at various at sites and other such places. I am currently working on creating another such place for artist of many styles and forms.

My preferred method is paperwork. I’m creating collages by using different kinds of illustrations, such as newspaper, books or calendars. For this handcraft I need good scissors and glue. I’m not using digital processing in my works.

My source of inspiration is life itself. Every encounter means inspiration. To express the vital forces is my intention.

When I start a new work, there is nothing I’m thinking of, no idea. It’s a flow. My intuition is leading me.

When the work is finished, I’m always surprised of the result. It’s a journey.

An experimental artwork. The final render used an object for the backing and one object for the sky dome which creates the environment. The main work is made of ten thousand sphere objects to create the mosaic image. Each sphere is a single solid color.

The Sea Urn Series as a group are my oldest surviving 3D CGI based works. The second version dates from the mid 1990s. The first version only survives as a low resolution render, it dates from the late 1980 and slightly updated in the early 1990s. This is the third version, it dates from 2005.

Ich bin Naturfotografin und fotografiere fast nur Naturbilder, Blumen, Makros, Meeresbilder und Strände. Ich freue mich über jeden netten Kommentar zu meinen Bildern. Überwiegend sind die Bilder von den Küsten der schönen Insel Rügen. Ich liebe das Meer und hoffe daß ich anderen mit dem Betrachten meiner Meeresbilder von der Trauminsel Rügen eine Freude machen kann. Ich wohne dort in der Nähe. Früher wohnte ich lange Zeit im Norden der Insel Rügen.
