The concept behind my work is to show how any subject can be translated into art context and be depicted in such a way that enables the viewer to see its aesthetic elements rather than its use or meaning. The subjects of my work are influenced by nature, life outdoors, contemporary culture, architecture, the city. Most of my art is mixed media but I also like to experiment with photography. Sometimes I use alternative materials to canvas, such as corduroy, denim, cotton and textiles where I'm trying to incorporate different textures and feels in my work, in order to have a variety of surfaces to work with.
