Eines Tages war es da, das Nilpferd in meinem Pool, und es hatte sichtlich Spaß. Hippos sind wehrhafte Tiere, so ließ ich es erstmal in Ruhe. Später machte ich ein paar Fotos und holte die Staffelei. Das gab ein Bild, nicht so schlecht. Das Flusspferd blieb allerdings länger als erwartet. So machte ich mich auf den Weg ins Stadtbad. Als ich zurück kam, war das Hippo verschwunden. Immerhin, das Bild ist geblieben.

One day it was there, the hippo in my pool, and it was clearly having fun. Hippos are defensive animals, so I left it alone for the time being. Later, I took a few photos and got the easel. That gave a picture, not too bad. However, the hippo stayed longer than expected. So I made my way to the city pool. When I came back, the hippo was gone. After all, the image has remained.
