der markante Leuchtturm von Tybee Island ist auf einer Insel in Chatham County /Georgia, in der Nähe der Stadt Savannah. Die Insel und Städtchen sind gleichnamig. Den Leuchtturm kann man besichtigen, man hat eine tolle Aussicht von oben und drum herum wurde alles historisch restauriert und das ehemalige Leuchtturmhäuschen ist ein kleines, liebevoll eingerichtetes Museum. Der Leuchtturm wurde 1736 und öfter saniert. Tybee Island Light Station & Museum
