Korallen in Carraroe

Carraroe (irisch: An Cheathrú Rua, der offizielle Name) ist ein Dorf in der Grafschaft Galway, Irland. Das Dorf liegt in dem irisch sprechenden Raum (Gaeltacht) von Connemara, und ist berühmt für seine traditionellen Fischerboote wie Galway Hookers bekannt. Seine Bevölkerung ist weit über Carraroe Halbinsel zwischen Greatman Bay (Cuan ein Fhir Mhóir) und Casla Bay (Cuan Chasla) verteilt. Carraroe hat einen ungewöhnliche Korallen Strand, Trá an Dóilín, sowie einen natürlichen Kiesstrand.
