Ein schöner Tag auf dieser Welt!

Vor einem goldnen Stoppelfeld,
da stand ein alter Apfelbaum.
Er war ganz krumm,
ich glaubt es kaum.

Er stand allein am Straßenrand,  als Kind hab ich ihn schon gekannt!  Da ging ich oft an ihm vorbei,  wir waren damals jung, wir zwei.    Ein schöner Tag auf dieser Welt!    Die mir auch heute noch gefällt.  Ich setzte mich unter den Apfelbaum,  war auch ganz krumm,  so wie der Baum.
