Description:

The Duluth Harbor Basin is a sheltered area large enough to even provide shelter for the large freighters that ply the waters of Lake Superior. The harbor has direct access to Lake Superior through the Duluth Ship Canal and it is very active during the warmer weather with commercial and recreational craft.
