Der Tempel des Poseidon steht am Kap Sounion 60 m über dem Meer an der Südspitze Attikas in Griechenland. Er wurde 440 v. Christus errichtet und beasaß 38 dorische Säulen. Er ist als Ruine erhalten. Vom Kap blickt man auf die Ägäis und den Saronischen Golf.
