Description:

Avro Shackleton WR963 battered by a storm out over the coast. Shackleton WR963 was built in 1954 and entered service with Royal Air Force Coastal Command at RAF St Mawgan, Cornwall. She went on to serve with 224 Sqn in Gibraltar; 210 Sqn at Ballykelly; 38 Sqn at Hal Far, Malta; 205 Sqn at Changi, Singapore and finally 8 Sqn at Lossiemouth.
