This is Ramona King. She is a griot - a storyteller. A griot is a West African storyteller, singer, musician, and oral historian. They train to excel as orators, lyricists, and musicians. Ramona lives in Albuquerque and regales people with her lively, acted-out stories. She especially hopes to pass on the old African stories to children.
