Since there is nothing in the house anymore, that relates to the sign, I can only guess.
Either there was first a tavern (the grapes) and then a bakery (the Brezel), or rather it was a Wine Tavern, a typical place in Southern Germany, where one could get something small to eat, and wine to drink.

Taken in Marbach am Neckar, Germany.
