Description:

HMS Belfast was originally a Royal Navy light cruiser, commissioned in August 1939. Saved from the scrapyard in 1971 and brought to London, where she is permanently moored on the River Thames. The Tower of London is on the left of the picture with Tower Bridge in the background.
