Watercolour and ink travel sketch painting in impressionist expressionist of Maya, a female character from the Spanish artist Goya, lying in a bath in a famous ruin bar from Budapest in Hungary.

I visited the ruin bar quite early in the morning, and there were hardly anybody there, unfortunately. At least I could sketch in peace.
I got the idea to make a mini series of paintings featuring the bar and some famous characters from famous artists. I could not resist to put the wonderful Maja from Goya in that bath which was converted in a bench!
Seen and painted during a painting trip to Budapest in October 2014.
