The lion is the second largest living cat after the tiger. With powerful legs, a strong jaw and a three-inch canine teeth, the lion can kill large presas.13 Lions coloration runs from a light beige color to a yellowish brown, or dark reddish ocher. The underparts are generally lighter and the hair of the final end of the tail is black.
