Das Bild entstand im Frühling. Noch erscheint die Wollgrasfläche im trockenen Gelb.
Das Dubringer Moor wird reaktiviert und ist von seiner Größe sehr bedeutend.
Es liegt in der Lausitz. Das Städtchen Hoyerswerda ist nicht weit entfernt.
In dem Moor brüten Bekassinen und in der Dämmerungszeit kann dort Rotwild beobachtet werden.
