Bei Joe Hennig lag die Kunst schon immer in der Familie; der Vater Fotokünstler, die Tante bildende Künstlerin. Aufbauend auf seinen Anfängen als Graffiti-Künstler lernte er im Laufe seiner Karriere sämtliche Medienbereiche kennen und spezialisierte sich auf Illustration, Animation und Charakterdesign. Unter der Firmierung "MaJo Brothers" realisiert er zusammen mit seinem Bruder Marc seit 2004 vielfältige Wandmal-Projekte im nationalen wie internationalen Kontext. Heute sind ihre verschiedenen Arbeiten und Bilder in Deutschland, Europa und sogar Asien zu sehen.

For Joe Hennig, art has always run in the family; his father a photographic artist, his aunt a visual artist. Building on his beginnings as a graffiti artist, he got to know all areas of media in the course of his career and specialized in illustration, animation and character design. Under the company name "MaJo Brothers" he and his brother Marc have been realizing diverse mural projects in both national and international contexts since 2004. Today their various works and paintings can be seen in Germany, Europe and even Asia.

I've considered myself to be an artist as far back as I can remember. I've always recognized the importance, at least for my own sake, of art in life and life as an art.
I once tried to calculate how many kilometers I've ever hitchhiked, but I lost track somewhere after 50,000; and besides, that was a few years back.
