Randi Grace Nilsberg

Hi, I’m Randi, and I create photo art by experimenting with different techniques and styles from soft and subtle colors to the brightness of the entire rainbow. Everything I do starts with a photo of something that caught my eye through its light and shadows, textures and colors. Digital textures often intensify the beauty. Welcome to my online world of photographic art! I invite you to come in and learn more about me and my work. Feel free to browse through my galleries for museum quality prints, Y

DescriptionEvery day has a crow in it! Yes, I have crows in my garden and in my photos! These magnificent birds don't sing pretty, but they sure contribute with a lot of entertainment!

As the world is in the middle of a pandemic and we are all forced to keep a safe distance to other people, I appreciate having the possibility to actually escape from it all. A peaceful and safe environment like this one is not granted to everyone.

If a quiet landscape is too far away, enjoy it on your wall!

"The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.” ~ Socrates

A lot of people work from home during the pandemic. Home office is the new normal, and when time allows it people get outside for some fresh air, take a walk and find peace of mind. The new normal allows us and forces us to enjoy the one thing that has not changed; nature.

If you look closely, the flowers are not just flowers. They are little winter stars.

What is it with an empty bench? It draws our attention like a magnet. I was not going to sit down when I spotted this one, so that could not be the reason, I wasn't looking for a place to rest. Still, my eyes immediately focused on this object. Could it be that we want someone to be sitting there? Do we unconsciously wish to see an old couple looking at the ocean, with a walking stick leaning against the bench? A young couple in love? A widow resting and reminiscing good old days? A jogger with a cramp in his leg? The scene is not alive. What action we put into it is all in our head.

That means that this image is actually a blank canvas when it comes to its story. It is just a backdrop for the tales you have ready to be told.

Enjoy it on your wall, and let your guests tell their stories too!

Remains from last year. A simple composition from Mother Nature.

When I was a little girl there was a tiny house close to the bridge. You can see the remains behind the big tree on the right. I remember the old lady who lived there. Birds were eating off her hand. The house is gone, the old lady is gone, but memories remain and we still have the opportunity to get out and take a walk along this canal in Horten, Norway.

Cold days like this are peaceful and quiet, a great opportunity to transfer the peace from nature to our minds.

Enjoy serenity from this image through the whole year in your own home.
