Auf einem Hügel über der kleinen, beschaulichen Stadt Kendal im Lake Districk in Großbritanien steht die Ruine einer steinernen Burganlage aus dem 12. Jh. Vom Hügel hat man eine gute Aussicht auf die umliegende Landschaft und auf die Stadt.
Kendal liegt in der engl. Grafschaft Westmoreland, im Tal des Flusses Kent.
