I have to admit that when mowing the lawn in this area, the usual devices such as scythe, electric or gasoline lawn mowers cannot be used successfully. Even so, this was no reason not to paint the picture. Fortunately, the grass in the picture is no longer growing. In the painting, the grass grows on the wall. In reality, of course, the wall was a bare, neutral white wall, as is so common. In every house in which I came up with the idea for the picture, it was extremely hot in the summer of 2019. The room also lacked wall decoration and a little variety and so it was a refreshing idea to let green, and not parched, brown grass sprout on the wall. A small stream on the wall created an additional compensation for the so-called record summer at the time. I hope the description gives you access to the somewhat strange picture.

The Painting is free invented without reference to a photography and of course a free hand painting. You nearly can describe it as photorealism. There is no computer involved. In the original painting you can enjoy the fine painted surface of the art piece, typical and unique for an hand painted art. After the digitalisation with a high quality camera you just see a digital file with no special surface. I hope, your print is comparable with an original art artpainting. Some artist say, they make a painting with a computer. Here you have real hand made and spititual, intelectual paintings, that are produced as a print. Ich muss zugeben, dass beim Rasenmähen dieser Fläche die üblichen Geräte wie Sense, elektrischer oder Benzinrasenmäher nicht unbedingt erfolgreich eingesetzt werden kann. Trotzdem war dies kein Grund, das Bild nicht zu malen. Auf dem Bild wächst das Gras erfreulicherweise nicht mehr weiter. Auf dem Gemälde wächst das Gras an der Wand. In der Realität war die Wand natürlich eine kahle neutral weiße Wand, wie sie so üblich ist. In jedem Haus, in dem ich auf die Idee des Bildes kam war es damals im Sommer 2019 zudem extrem heiß. Eine Wanddekoration und etwas Abwechslung fehlte dem Zimmer auch und so war es eine erfrischende Idee an der Wand grünes, und eben nicht ausgedorrtes braunes, Gras sprießen zu lassen. Ein kleiner Bach an der Wand schaffte einen zusätzlichen Ausgleich Zu dem damaligen so genannten Rekordtommer. Ich hoffe, die Beschreibung gibt Ihnen einen Zugang zu dem etwas merkwürdigen Bild.
