Das Bild wurde an einem außergewöhnlich heißen Sommertag des Jahres 2014 gemalt. Für mich wurde die Hitze, der Schweiß, das Gefühl der Passivität zur Metapher für eine Welt, in der vieles weggefegt wird. Widerstand scheint zwecklos zu sein. Ich hoffe, dass die Farbe und die Bewegung, die Dynamik des Bildes etwas davon wahrnehmbar machen.
