Barn owls get their name because they like nesting in barns and are a favorite with farmers because they eat small rodents. They are easy to identify because of their heart-shaped face. I think the owl on the right was just as interested in me as I was in him because whenever I turned my head, he turned his head. Your Ornithologist friends would enjoy this image.
