He also studied abroad in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy where he had the opportunity to experience and embrace the grandeur of some of the world's greatest artists and their culture.
Betirri has been gaining much international momentum as more people are finding out about his art. He is best known for Futbol Series, in which he vividly paints the passionate essence of team rivalries in the "beautiful game". Betirri's work exhibits his vast artistic range. He has a poignant natural ability to see things with an expansive view and then beautifully transform his vision into art. Bettiri's aspiration is to continue to unite the undying passion for futbol with the eternal beauty of art, and through his work, he hopes to one day become a part of art history.

betirri has uploaded The Right Step

The idea behind this painting is to portray the inspiration to give footwear to communities in need of shoes around the globe. The aforementioned was born by decades of observing children playing futbol shoeless in the streets and pastures of various regions of the world. The "right step" in the Two Steps At A TimeTM social initiative promises to give a pair of shoes to someone in need for every pair sold and VOS together with Betirri have collaborated to provide paintings portraying the inspirations behind the movement.
