mbk-wildlife-photography

An avid wildlife enthusiast and a keen photographer.
Wildlife photography and travel combine to bring you my portfolio.
Much of my work shows birds and other wildlife from the UK, America and Australia. I love macro photography of insects and plants, so these also make up a significant portion of my work, which can be found on several sites around the web.
I hope you enjoy looking at my work and can see why I am so passionate about beautiful and fascinating wildlife in all its forms :0)

    Beautiful Birds (12 pictures)

I adore all forms of wildlife, and while a large proportion of birds in my work, this is more due to the challenging nature of bird photography than a specific obsession with them :0). Here you will find my favourite photographs of our feathered friends from the UK and my travels to Florida, America and Queensland Australia

    Marvelous Macro (5 pictures)

I have been fascinated by insects since childhood and the challenge of macro photography allows you to see details often not noticed with the naked eye. I use the wonderful Canon 100mm f/2.8 L macro lens for normal macro and recently acquired to remarkable (but notoriously hard to use) Canon MPE 65mm f/2.8 1-5X macro lens to allow the most incredible magnification

    Enchanting England (7 pictures)

I live in "the Garden of England", the County of Kent, in a small village of Sissinghurst, famous for its Castle Gardens created by Vita Sackville-West. In this set you will find my photographs, in many genres, of England and the UK

    Amazing Amphibians

I love these little fellows. Generally smooth, bright, colourful and shiny they make beautiful subjects for photography. Sadly their need to keep their skin moist does mean they are rather elusive as they need to keep in the water or in shaded concealed areas. Still, this does mke them all the more rewarding to find :0)

    Magnificent Mammals (3 pictures)

Beautiful photography of Mammals from the UK, America and Australia
