Silvino González Morales
I'm a colombian photographer and designer my work is focused in find artistic pathways to melt traditional cultural roots with a global worldwide vision. Right now my goal is to experiment with mixtures between classical (analogic) and digital techniques of representation, capture and print of images; trying to find a personal way to express my vision and feelings about a lot of topics.
I'm looking for my place in a world over populated and full of communication media but also full of isolated persons in tiny places, meaningless works and lacking of big dreams beyond money or fame.
I try to reflect in my work my concerns about my role like a man and an artist in a process between traditions and preconceptions and more post modern perceptions about my self, my sexuality, my place and my future.
Between traditions, rituals, history and a little dose of nihilism and a hedonistic search I try to find equilibrium. Im a bipolar person, my work is a catharsis, and a declaration of pride about my condition; my art pieces try to talk about my country, our wars, our pain, our dreams, our cultural melting pot and our never ending search of happiness.

I was born n 1979 in Gdansk, Poland and I'm currently working as a graphic designer. As a son of a painter and designer I had contact with art in many forms since the very young age. In 2007 I started using computer for drawing and mixing traditional outlines with digital backgrounds and colours, in 2009 I've befriended my own wacom intuos. I try to found inspirations in everyday life and people I meet. www.facebook.com/headless.illustration
Former advertising photographer...awards and all. I now design logos & create names for company, product or services...all for corporate or personal use as well as consult directly with clients about their brand/identity/domain name creation needs. Please visit my design studio http://www.identivos.com I also can create custom 'one of a kind' monograms for letterhead use & Ex Libris plates for your library books. My passion is creating designs that “sing” with color...along with subtle or overt meaning. When given the opportunity, I love utilizing neologisms and other name creating methods for brand/identity and logo use.
The images presented here are done primarily in the Mandala or Rose Window art styles. They're made exclusively with Adobe Illustrator CS5, a vector graphics program. These images are 'tack' sharp. Vector graphics are scalable, meaning they can be utilized at very small dimensions or in greatly enlarged proportions all without any diminution of quality. The artwork/designs presented here really look their best at the largest possible print sizes...some subtlety of color and detail is lost at small sizes. This is not a ploy to encourage large print sales...the designs simply look their best when printed in larger sizes.
There is a tremendous array of varied talent displayed on this site...it’s great to be associated with fellow artists that are passionate about their work and I salute them all!

If you have questions, requests, or an interest in any design, I can edit the colors & backgrounds to a great degree...this is one advantage of digital art.
I welcome and appreciate all comments and inquiries...please email me with specific questions or requests about fine art, logo/identity creation, monograms or Ex Libris plates. Thank you for viewing.
