Advent calendar: Door Nr.19
Only a few days left until the Christ Child or Santa Claus are knocking on your door. Behind Nr. 19 of our ARTFLAKES advent calendar, however, there is Thomas Schaefer, photographer living in Bremen.
Schaefer is Graphic artist and photo designer, with “a couple of grey hairs” on his head, he says. Taking pictures means discovering the world and meditate over it. Preferably he expresses this with dramatic landscape pictures or well known motifs, snapped from unexpected angles.
“A good picture may be read almost like a poem”, Schaefer writes in his profile at ARTFLAKES and indeed several of his motifs would be the perfect illustration for certain poems.
On the right you can see, as an example of his photographic work, the picture named “Winter Blues“, that perfectly fits into the current christmas atmosphere. More of his work is availabe in his shop.
